If you have an upset stomach, try taking a small piece of fresh raw ginger root and suck on it. Cut a piece about the length of your nail on your thumb and then peel it. Chew it and suck the juice out of the piece of ginger. Only swallow the juice and spit out the rest of the ginger. Fresh raw ginger is very hot when entering the body, so take your time and do a small piece first. When you finally get use to that small piece, work your way up to bigger size chunks. Give yourself maybe one to three hours to start feeling the healing effects of the ginger root.
